Colleen has been enamored of painting since before she can remember. She works observationally and from memory in a variety of media including painting, drawing, collage, and photography.

She has shown her work in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area, greater New York, Kansas City and South Carolina. She has recently received Rigsby Travel grants to France and New York as well as a full tuition MFA scholarship. Her work is in private collections across the country.

Colleen attended the inaugural class of the South Carolina Governor’s School of the Arts and then earned her BFA in painting with a dual major in Art History from the Kansas City Art Institute.  She recently completed her MFA in Studio Art in Dallas, Texas at Southern Methodist University’s Meadows School of the Arts and currently lives and works in Santa Monica, CA.
